ibook monitor

I'nm planning on getting an ibook and it comes with a VGA adapter. Will i be able to use any monitor with the ibook or only apple made monitors?

    Any old CRT will be fine.

    As a matter of fact, you can't use any recent Apple made monitors since they have an ADC connection, not VGA.
