PB17 Keyboard repeat letters
I have had my 17" Powerbook for several months and it is really great....except....from time to time I am getting double letters when I type. It happens maybe once per typewritten page, but I go pretty quickly, so it is a real nuisance to go back and fix these things. It is not the same letter each time, but i and e seem to come up a lot.
I have seen some people say "move the sliders to the left" in the keyboard setup which does not work and is a pain. I saw someone say that this is a software problem. I don't know why this would be so arbitrary if it were a software problem, but I am keeping and open mind.
My suspicion is that this is a glitchy hardware problem or that I am subconsciously trashing this keyboard and that because the i and e are just the left and right hand versions of each other, maybe I just type too much like a chimpanzee and it is manifesting itself in this problem.
Any guidance here? Has anyone else seen this problem?
