Requirements for HD playback in iMovie HD?
Anyone know what the requirements for playing back 1080i HD is in iMovie?
I know that elgato says you need a fast dual g5 to play 1080 back, but they also say something about how Apple software is able to access the graphics chip in ways third party developers can't, allowing for faster decoding.
I'm seriously looking at getting the eyetv500 while it is free of the broadcast flag, but am detered that I won't actually be able to watch the shows it records in all their glory with my 1.2 G4.
