Appleinsider animation

Can anyone tell what's up with this new advertising animation in every Appleinsider page, sucking up to 80% of CPU in all browsers, Mac and Windows? This makes my Powerbook to crawl. Well, not really, but close to that. Do we need now dual-processor machines just to browse Appleinsider ?
