Login Script

Does any one know how to make a login script to map network drives? I need to do this on OS X and 9

    Do you need to simply mount share points at system start-up? The best tutorial for Mac OS X is here. In Mac OS 9 launch Chooser, select the AppleShare file server, click connect, provide login/password and then click the checkbox after the share point name.
