I have an old Powerbook 500Mhz Family number M7572. The problem is the computer wont turn on and I dont know whats wrong. I just want to get some files out of the hard drive. What are my options?

I do have an older mac iBook Family bumber M2453, can I swap the hard drive from my powerbook into the iBook?

Also I have the OSX on the power book. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you have access to another firewire enabled mac, you can start up in firewire target mode by holding down the "t" during start-up, your hard drive should then show up as an external drive on the other mac...
