fan noise on 17inch like a desktop

do you think it would be like a desktop fan - ie really noisy?



A couple of points

looks like the mouse pad has no double step fold in the metal...does the material seem like a spray painted white ibook..obvoiusly its not - but I have a suspicion that up close it will look plastic...



Main concern is fan noise - whats your thoughts?



I ordered mine today though!

    My guess is that with more space in the case there will be less need for fans. Let's hope that's true!

    fan noise shouldnt be a problem at all because of the extra space and the use of alunimum rather than titanium.



    I'm still conflicted! I really want the 17 features and case style in the 15! Why does it have to be so difficult?

    i was reading a review, said the 17" ran VERY cool.



    wouldn't worry about fan noise.

    I'm more worried about the Mini actually, after reading a few reports of it running pretty hot.

    You ordered a mother****ing PowerBook 17"? What the hell. I feel like the only one who is going to take like forever to save up for a $3300 laptop.
