I noticed that there had not been a thread started about the rumored 5G iPod. There was a reference to it in another thread which caught my attention.

80Gb and a silver enclosure similar to the MM, PB, and PM sound excellent to me. I would even skip buying the 60Gb iPod Photo and wait for this.
What is the reliability of Think Secret's sources and does the current outlook for the 80 Gb hard drive from Toshiba to be released on schedule around the middle of the year.
If this rumor is true and the 5G iPod is released towards the middle of the year (June-August?), when will they actually be available.
Also, beyond myself what is the actual market for an 80Gb mp3 player?
