New PowerMac or G5 PowerBook @WWDC '05?
One can't help but notice that people waiting for the G5 PowerBooks AND those waiting for the next generation PowerMacs
are BOTH predicting an announcement at WWDC '05.
Obviously Apple is not going to release both of these new goodies
at the same time, so what's it going to be @ WWDC '05?

What makes you think that? With the release of Tiger it seems the perfect time to announce new 64-bit machines to go along with it.
Probably grasping at straws but this could be a possible update soon hint
I wish !!

So i don't know if apple tells store owners what the new products are going to be, but if that's the case...we'll probably see G5 powerbooks in about a month...
release was last April 2004.
The last update to the G5 towers was in June 2004.
Other releases were in fall or early winter and Mac mini
took the stage for this January.
While both are certainly due for some sort of update, I doubt
that we would see a major revision to both at the same time.
So, My guess is that we are more likely to see a PowerBook update much sooner than any major revision of the PowerMacs.
This does not exclude a speed bump with a major revision of the other product.
If either update coincides with the release of Tiger, then we'll have that
"one more thing"
I just don't think Apple would underplay the importance of a G5 PowerBook buy letting it share the spotlight with a Rev 3 PowerMac.
Just my 2 cents

NOT TRUE! I have my own Apple Store franchise... it only cost my first born son, and the copper crayon in my new 64 Crayola But it was worth it.
