What ports on ipod dock?

This is a simple Q but I've found no answers using search. What ports are on the back of apple's iPod dock for 4G ipods? I assume one is a line in. What else? Dock connector? Firewire?



I am designing an in-car docking solution and I want to get an understanding of what I would need to incorporate the apple dock (preferably before I have to buy a dock).

    two connectors: dock and line out

    The line out is a 1/8 inch stereo mini-jack, commonly called a headphones connector. The volume is fixed at line-level and isn't adjusted by the volume setting on the iPod.

    Note both the dimensional drawings of the iPod in .pdf format and the email address. I believe Apple has some sort of program to help third parties with their iPod peripherals.



    [edit] Interesting. The .pdf has the old iPod, but not the mew model.
