Radeon 9800 Pro SE DVD playback problem
Ok, here is the problem:
I just installed an ATI 9800 Pro SE (256mb) card in my 1.8ghz G5 tower. This is an upgrade from a FX5200. The DVD playback performance is HORRIBLE. It is kind of choppy, and has a tendency to flicker. The performance w/ the FX5200 was flawless.
Machine specs:
single 1.8ghz G5
ram: 1.5gig
HD: 160gig
Firewire drive: 200gig
23" HD display
OS X 10.3.7
I installed the latest drivers from ATI (via the Apple site)
Any direction is very much appreciated and TIA.
