How to rip and burn a data CD?

Hi.



I want to backup, an aging, data CD (software). How do I rip-it and then burn it, so it would run like new? Yes, the old one is still working now, but it is scratched bad, and I think a backup would be smart.

    You could use Disk Utility to make a new disk image and then burn that to a new CD.

    you could also get toast (any edition would do - is lite free?)
