How do you charge your shuffle?

My dad just bought a new ipod shuffle. What can he use to charge his shuffle, when he can't get to a usb port? I have seen some generic usb chargers will those work?

    I've seen 3rd party USB power adapters for about $7. As long as it is USB compliant, it will charge the Shuffle.
