PM G5 Fan Issues

I just recently installed 10.3.8 and the fans inside my DP 2.0 G5 are going nuts. They will suddenly rev up to high speeds when I'm not doing any intensive processor work. It gets really bad when I am surfing the internet.



If this thing had wings it would take off!

    interesting. i have a dual 2.5, but 10.3.8 made this sound like a totally different computer. all those random rev ups are gone now.

    I too had some horrible rev up problems last week, but it seems to have fixed its self. I would keep using our computer and they may just go away on their own.

    They had some good ideas, but the only thing that worked for me was leaving the energy settings to full instead of automatic.

    I had no idea that would work, and come to think of it, I did that a while ago.
