i run my iBook G4 12" in reduced processor performance mode hoping to extend battery life (per charge). If chainging the setting gives me 15 extra minutes, it is worth it.

Anyone know how much more battery life you get by running in reduced mode?

You will definitely gain battery life. The question of how much is a matter of your usage. The CPU is typically one of the biggest energy hogs in a notebook. Well, at the least, it's one of the few components than can actually run in a power saving mode (which is done by reducing the clock speed and core voltage). If you can function well enough in the reduced performance mode, then there's no reason not to use it.
