what to save for imovie/idvd

so i just finished a movie and burned it, now i want to save it to my external HD. Do i save the imovie or the idvd project. There is quite a size difference. Thanks

    I'd say that if you think you may want to re-edit the footage in the future, save it in iMovie, if not, just save the iDVD project. For home movies, I personally just burn a few DVDs, keep the DV footage on the little DV video tapes, and delete everything. I'd run out of space otherwise.
