Can I plug the ethernet cable into my iBook laptop and then connect to the internet through my Airport wireless? If so how do you do it.

how do you connect to the internet? do you have a "wireless base station" that you connect to the internet with?

I think you need to turn of Internet Sharing. This can be done by opening 'System Preferences', clicking on 'Sharing' and going to the 'Internet' tab.

I did this same setup with an xbox and ibook. It seems that the xbox and ibook don't like to dhcp each other properly, so I had to manually configure the xbox and ibook ip addresses as well as specifying the dns server on the xbox.

how do you connect to the internet? do you have a "wireless base station" that you connect to the internet with?
