REM in concert
Caught the encore last night as a volunteer for Amnesty International (and Michael Stipe paid us tribute). The finale was "Man on the Moon", which was nice.
But I'm not too into the band, and there's no way I'd have paid the ticket price to get in.
Acoustics of the hall at the HKCEC were absolutely horrible. Saw Suede there before but it was general admission, so it was much better.
All of the sound was from the front and there was no acoustic "bounce" off the ceiling or the walls. Just terrible. Sounded like I was listening from the end of a tunnel.
