Clamshell iBook dinginess solution?

Anyone have a good home remedy to restore my blueberry iBook's rubber bits to non-dingy status? shes starting to look pretty bad.

    I used rubbing alcohol on a white cloth towel on my outter parts of my iBook Indigo and it worked like a charm. Your results may vary though
