sharing a firewire/usb drive:osx&xp

in Current Mac Hardware edited January 2014
just got a new case for my old ti 20bg drive that i replaced with a toshiba 60gb. i figured i could use this to transfer stuff easily between my pc(with usb) to my tibook. so i formatted it on the pc as a FAT32..i dont seem to be able to reliably copy files from the mac on to it..keep getting an error-50. any clues?

    ok...dont format mac os standard or mac os extended or unix file system



    i think there is a simple pc filesystem solution in disk utility



    maybe u have to use drive10 or diskwarrior...just get it done on a mac



    why isnt this in genius bar??
