Just going like, WTF? WTF were you thinking?

You know i luv apple. but classic example: Quicktime7 HD gallery just up:

bloody sweet:

http://www.apple.com/quicktime/hdgallery/

fantastic four on the first fold of the webpage, jessica alba with some nice cleavage happening, very good, high-definition, very good, then..

"Exceptional Peripheral Vision

Welcome to a revolution in resolution. High Definition video brings the widescreen vistas, clarity and color depth of film to the television and computer screen"

WTF???

"exceptional peripheral vision"

joe average just wants to know "kick-ass high-definition with quicktime7"

"revolution in resolution" that's a bit too smart

"widescreen vistas, blah blah...."

WTF??? who wrote this copy?

joe average just wants to know "cinema-quality high-resolution video and rich colors beyond DVD with quicktime7 and a powermac g5"

apple is going to f8cking miss the boat on high-def consumer home-cinema... but i'm secretly wishing, nay, praying, for an iPod-like revolution for a Mac-based high-def home-cinema setup, or hell, maybe they just don't wanna, that's not their focus...
