Entourage 2004 + Tiger = broken attachments
We have two completely clean installations of Tiger and Office 2004 on G4-based Macs that fail to send attachments via Entourage.
Apple Mail and Thunderbird work without a hitch; only Entourage 2004 "breaks" attachments after a couple of bytes. There is no error message while sending but almost all attachments are unusable when they arrive. This is obviously not a problem of the encoding; the files are not complete, when they arrive.
Does anyone else have this problem? Does it occur with Entourage v.X under Tiger, too?
There are some reports of broken attachments von microsoft.public.mac.office.entourage and on macfixit.com but as of now I couldn't find any word from M$ on this.
