Civ 3 for X?

When Civilization III comes out for the Mac, will it go strait to Mac OS X?

    I dunno, but Civ 3 looks pretty cool on the Windows platform.. Almost bought it two weeks ago, but I didn't have anough money...

    It has about 30% of the functionality of Alpha Centauri.
