Congratulations. Think of it as an investment. That PowerBook will be running long after I put my Windows laptop to rest for the last time.

I just got my first Mac not too long ago. I am loving it.

    Welcome aboard the A(pple) train.

That reminds me of the saying - "What's wrong with the car? The driver!"

I'm typing this on a 3 year old Fujitsu that has yet to give me 1 blue screen of death, crash, or do any other type of PC horor thing that people around here commonly refer to.

Doesn't matter whether you own a MAC or PC, just don't let yourself become a slave to your computer.

Apple does have a 2 week return policy... So heres to hoping they are going to update "something" in 2 weeks..... or maybe they are delayed magically like every other system

I just recently ordered an iMac with an original ship date of 5/31. Found out it shipped today, but it'll take a good week to get here from San Jose . Ah well, it is free shipping after all.

I bought a new 17" iMac at Compusa last night. No wait time, no shipping charges. This is a sweet machine!

I just cleared 16 grand on the sale of my house a few months ago, and then we have been saving up the checks for delivering papers, so I paid cash for this baby.

If I hadn't changed some options, I agree buying in person definitely is the way to go.

At least you live in CA, so it's a few days to get to you, I gotta wait for it to cross the country to get to me
