iChat video-conferencing with Windows
Hi there,
Although I have noticed a similar post on this forum with regards to the same issue, and even though the AOL website appears to say so, I would just like to confirm that it is possible to use the iChat / iSight combo to video-conference with Windows machines equipped with the latest version of AIM, and an appropriate webcam.
I would also like to find answers for the following:
- Is Logitech's QuickCam Pro 4000 compatible with the latest version of AIM on Windows?
- Other than iChatUSBCam and webcam-osx on sourceforge (which doesnt seem to support the Pro 4000), might there be another way to make iChat compatible with USB webcams?
I have done much research into this, but to no great avail. This even includes a phone-call to the Apple Store in London concerning video-conf compatibility issues between Windows and Mac, which again came to no avail.
So here I am
Thanks in advance,
Nius.
