How do the new G5 graphics cards compare with the old ones?

Does anybody know how the graphics cards in the new (Rev. C) machines compare with the graphics cards in the outgoing machines (Rev. B) - in particular, how the 9600 compares with the 5200?

Cheers!

In Windows world, Ati 9600 is about equal to Gefroce FX 5700 and significantly faster than 5200 (even Ultra).

I'm guessing MAC is similar although quantitatively maybe different because of different drivers.

The nVidia 5200 supports Quartz 2-D Extreme, so it's ready for Tiger.

With Tiger, once the card can support Quartz 2-D Extreme, it's the amount of video memory on the card, rather than the speed, which is more important.

Q2-DE needs a 9600 ATI, or an nVidia 5200 go or better.

The 9650 is there to drive the 30" display. I'm hoping they add in a GeForce 6600GT as a $100 option soon.
