Mac OS on Intel

If the rumors of Apple switching to Intel-based processors are true, heads must be spinning in Redmand.



I believe the PC customer base is, in general, absolutely fed-up with the spam/virus/spyware/adware problems in the Microsoft oerating systems. If the Apple OS proves to be relatively immune to these issues when ported to the Intel-processors (and this remains to be seen), then there may be major erosion in Microsoft's share of the operating system market.



Bill Gates once made a point of insisting that the Windows OS was "hardware agnostic". His worst nighmare might be that this is also true for OS X.

    Bring on Marklar if all we have is stale PPCs. 2 PPCs = 1 AMD and thats the problem. I like my AMD i also like my Macs but when its time for Doom3...............
