desktop photos

I just bought a powerbook g4 12 inch btw and I was wondering when i see a picture on google images that I like and I want to put it as my desktop is there anyway I can do it like the way pcs ( add to background). I have to save to iphoto library than add it to my desktop is there any quicker way?

    nope, thats about it... after you save it to iphoto, right click on desktop, and click on 'change desktop backround' or something like that, and then look for your pic and click it... the only way i know.. sorry cant help more

    You can save it anywhere and change it in System Prefs by choosing the location you saved to in the desktop pref pane.
