what are the real differences between microsoft office v.x and 2004? Is one better than the other. I have v.x now, is it worth it to upgrade to 2004 if the price is really cheap (like sub-$20 college deal?). Thanks for the help
Rarely do MS office versions improve by much from release to release. At least that's how it goes for Windows versions. My office still uses Office 2000, if that's any indication of how many "improvements" are in each new version of MS office.

I have M$ Office 2004 Pro. Entourage 2004 is a definite improvement, although that is not saying much. I am hard pressed to see improvements in the other apps in the suite.
