Hey, I was wondering if anyone knew where you could find a place to download the Mac startup chime. Everytime I turn on my (or any) mac I can't help but feel good inside. So I'd like to know if anyone knows where to find such a thing (the newest one, I managed to wrangle the older chime) Thanks.

Thats a pretty cool sound. It makes me laugh a little. But I'm really set on that startup chime 8)

if you give me a bit of time, i can get it for you at normal quality. I will use the porgram MacTracker which has the sound and i could use wire tap. Hold-on, i'll get it. I misunderstood the question

The startup sounds differ on different machines.



They're actually chords.. David Pogue showed the notes in one of his books.
