Running the UNIX strings command on /Applications/iSync.app/Contents/PlugIns/ApplePhoneConduit.syncdevice/Contents/MacOS/ApplePhoneConduit after the 2.1 update yields the following four interesting lines:

    Code:

    ROKR E790

    "Motorola CE, Copyright 2000"+ROKR E790

    ROKR E1

    "Motorola CE, Copyright 2000"+ROKR E1

The E790 has been outed as the iTunes ROKR phone by Engadget, but what's this ROKR E1? the Ars OpenForum seems to have the answers on that.

Seems to be working fine with my nokia 6680. Although I was expecting that my groups in the AddressBook would also be in my phone..

I had to rehack the plist file for my V710 phone to sync up with my iMac after the update. Verizon pisses me off sometimes. But at least I know how to make it work.
