Final Cut Pro won't import!!
First off, I'm using a Power Mac dual 2.0 G5 with 2 gigs RAM, OS 10.3.9, and FCP 5.0. I'm using my Canon XL1 to import footage, cause we don't have a DV deck.
So, I want to capture now some stuff into FCP. The device control in Log and Capture works, as in it will make the camera begin playing the tape , but the color bars remain up in the window, and when I click capture now, I get the "FCP cannot capture now because there is no video."
It's pretty much driving me mad.
Sub-question.. Is there any way I can import using iMovie and get the media files from the imovie document (i used to be able to do that using iMovie 4 or whatever, but with HD, i can't figure it out)
yeah, any help would be entirely appreciated.
Thanks
