i had used it a little bit before, and always liked it, but i never liked it enough to actually use it as my default browser.
i downloaded it again today, and feel the same way. i went to macromedia's site to try to download the flash player for it, and i don't think it exists. you can either download the ie player or the netscape/netscape compliant player. (or maybe it's the other way around...)they would both install, but not work. know anything about that?
That's funny, Stroszek. I just dragged the contents of my existing IE plugins folder into the Opera plugins folder and everything works fine. (Well, Flash and QuickTime anyway. I haven't tested much else.)
I'm extremely pleased with its excellent speed, and the little speedometer that shows how fast pages load is cool. It may not look as pretty as OmniWeb or even IE, but it's very usable.

huh. i tried it again and it worked. who knows. that's really the only thing that i didn't like about it. it is extremely fast, and it's not that bad looking. The only thing that i'm not sure about is having to pay for it after 30 days to keep the ads from popping up. I know it's not much, but if netscape and ie are free, and i'm not unhappy with either one of them...

As a result you cannot manage your iTools homepage with it and cannot reach the Java chat of AI either.
But it improves gradually, and for everydays browsing it is my choice.
