avi player?

I need an avi player for mac os 10.4.2. i would like to stay away from having to edit all the config in quicktime, i would like to simply rigt click the file and go open with _________. can you... yes you... can you help me?

    VLC or MPlayer are your best bets. I use VLC more often by default, but MPlayer will handle some files VLC won't. Both can be found at versiontracker.com
