How exactly do we go about getting our rebates/replacement batterys, my first gen iPod died out after VERY minimal use and would just like to be compinsated.
Minimal use isn't necessarily the fault of a bad battery. Lithium batteries if they are left sitting with little or no charge or left in a hot environment are prone to dying. Although I expect Apple's supplier, which was actually Sony I believe, had a manufacturing defect, I think it is probably not helped by people who have no idea about battery care.
