Dual G4 CPU UPGRADE
Does anyone know where I could find some info on benchmarks or how much faster the sonnet 1.3GHZ 2MB cache is compared to the dual 500MHZ G4 I have? I have been looking arround to see how much of an improvement I would see using tiger with photoshop cs2.
I currently have 2GB ram installed in my dual 500 G4 with a ati 8500. Just wanted to know what could be done to see some nice improvemts in PS CS2.
ANyone have any ideas thanks.
If people are wondering why I am choosing the 1.3GHZ sonnet its because of the 2MB cache where as the other companies may go up to 1.8GHZ but there is no L3 cache, so I figured seeing how my bus speed is only 100MHZ, I probably would not see any difference between the 1.3 and 1.8.
