free and super good anti virus... do they exist?

i have done some extreme dl'ing since i got my mac and i am now worried about viruses. are there any free realy good anti virus software packages for mac? if not free, do you where where to get them free?

    There are no OS X viruses. None at all. And if they existed, you'd probably have to give them permission to run yourself. Don't worry about a thing. If Macs ever become as ubiquitous as PCs, there might be some more problems, but as it is, low install base + better security to begin with = no Mac viruses.

    I second that!

    ClamAV is both small and light and doesn't get on your nerves like norton does and it's free.
