Network messanges for mac and pc

Hi people I?ve got a wireless network and I need a messenger program to communicate over the network with over people. I know ichat can do it but I need it for windows xp and tiger. Can AOL and ichat do it?

    Yes, iChat works with AIM (AOL Instant Messanger). Personally I prefer Trillian over AIM, when using the Windows platform. Trillian is also compatible with iChat and AIM.
