Rent it!!

Crash, the movie . . . (not the one accidents and sex)

If you've passed this movie over in the video store looking for a real film, thinking it was probably some suspense thriller, then think again-!!

This is a good movie!

Reminiscent of Magnolia in form and location, but FAR better: with real emotional impact, and very pertinent characterizations, instead of lame art-student gimmicks and self conscious 'actors showcase' scenes like Magnolia.

Very powerful. Excellent acting and some scenes that were stunningly successful.

Makes me think that Hollywood can actually make a decent film once in a while . . .

I saw it twice in the theatre, crying *both* times during the "magic bullet" and "exploding car" scenes. How much can you possibly say for Terrance Howard, Thandie Newton, Matt Dillon, Don Cheadle, and so on. It's an utterly compelling ensemble picture about race relations in LA. I strongly echo pfflam's recommendation.

Cool. I heard a bad review and was avoiding it.
