This a slightly immature Classic only version, but an OSX version is planned. It is very nice, even in Classic. Kicks Limewire's ass!!!!

Why did you even mention LimeWire?

OpenNap and Gnutella are two completely different, unrelated systems. <img src="graemlins/oyvey.gif" border="0" alt="[No]" />

This app does look like it may have potential, though. I'm curious as to how exactly it performs searches over the various OpenNap servers since the larger ones are usually so full that you can't log in. I'll reserve judgment until I see a native OSX version.

I don't think Drumbeat is all that.

For $30 I think they could do better.

I used to use Mapigator which gave me access to the openNap servers for free and i never had a problem until my ISP somehow blocked my access.

Mactella is kind of sucky and prone to crashing but I won't be using drumbeat anymore.

Because they are both file sharing systems. Limewire is the frontrunner now.....and it sucks IMHO. What do you use?

Yeah, it sucks. It's very slow. I use it though because it works. I used to use Aimster full time but since I can't anymore Limewire is fine for now.
