iTunes crossfade failure

Is there any way to get iTunes to enable the crossfade effect when burning a CD?



It just puts the tracks side by side despite being checked in the preferences.



Alternatively, what other software lets you sequence/mix AND BURN mp3's to CD?

    The crossfader on iTunes 2, dynamicly creates the crossfades on the fly. THis cannot be done when you burn a CD, you would need to manually use a Audio editing app to manually create the cross fading (but you would still have the few seconds of silence inbetween songs).
