    I think we'll see:

    QuickTime 5.1 Update for Classic/Windows

    QuickTime 6 for MacOS X

I think that we wont see MPEG-4 until at least QuickTime 6 for all platforms. Especially since they still have yet to iron out the MPEG-4 licensing. (See<a href="http://www.streamingmedia.com/article.asp?id=8172"; target="_blank">this article</a>)

I think you are right. I just think they need to craft a MPEG-4 story and message. After all, the devices around the hub are going to be MPEG-4 based.

Wow, Apple exceeded ALL expectations on QuickTime. QTSS4 with MPEG-4, QT6 with MPEG-4, Apple/sun/Ericsson and OSX Broadcaster!! Great Job Apple QT team! I was wondering why Sorenson Broadcaster was not being updated for so long. Icecast/MP3 was also a great addition!

Also, Totally Hip is doing some great things. no complaining here.
