    Wow, how much do you plan on losing? Stay away from the race tracks, lottery counter, loan sharks, bookies, poker tables, family savings, etc.

    looks like somthing i've already seen a couple days ago. thats from a cell phone, a couple sites made a photoshop of it and say they are about 75% sure that is somehting apple ahs at this time.

    Jeez, all this buzz about the "one more thing" behind the red curtain is driving me nutz. Suppose Apple did come out with an updated iPod that could play videos. Who would buy it? Would Apple sell very many of them? Would an iPod for video be that big a deal that Apple would simulcast a satellite transmission to London? I don't think so.



    So what would be big enough for that? A movie download service? Yep, that'd do it. What if Jobs managed to strike a deal with Disney and Warner? Maybe some other studios as well. What if Apple had movies ready to download in the US and the UK?



    I think this is beyond podcasting, music videos which you can download now, and iMovies you can play on some new iPod on steroids. A new iPod with higher capacity, 40/80GB, yes. Capable of playing videos? Sure, that'd be easy. Encoding in H.264 takes major horsepower or a hardware encoding solution. Playback would be easy with a decoder chip and they're cheap.



    AirPort Express AV? Sure!



    Updated pro Macs and higher res PBs? Why not?



    But what would capture the imagination of the world?



    Lots to think about.
