transferring ipod to new imac

My friend just bought a new imac--she has her music on her ipod--how does she transfer the music files to her new imac?

    I use this. Works great, and uses the familiar iTunes interface. Best of all is it's free!

    Dose the new ipod have a built in speaker

    did this but i think i copied it twice, i followed the instructions in the quick start guide and instead of having 26gb of free space i now have 13 so where would that extra copy be?? under my name --music--itunes there are all the folders of individual artists. under itunes same so can i delete a group to free up space



    did i do something wrong???
