Power adapter questions!

Anyone know if the 45W "YoYo" style adapter will work on my 2001 model 800mhz PowerBook?

I'm seeing "BUY IT NOW" ebay prices on the model# 8482 (or 1036) 45W white Power Brick that originally came with my machine at around $39.00 plus $8 - $12 shipping. The YoYo prices are considerably less and this PowerBook I have is "long in the tooth" shall we say.

Anyhooo! Is the YoYo adapter OK for my TiBook?

    i never used a yoyo power adapter with a powerbook, however it works for my G3 iBook 600MHz

    It depends on which yoyo you get. The original yoyo's were for the colored ibooks and wallstreets laptops. They have a larger connnector than the current ones. The Ti 500 and 550 also had yoyo's and they were the size of the current machines.
