jpg Icons Don't Show My Photo Edits

I made some edits to photos in iPhoto, and then dragged them to the desktop, ready for taking to a print shop. The icon thumbnails show the uncropped images - even though when I load them in Preview the correct images are shown.



Is this an iPhoto bug? Will the print shop definitely print my cropped images?
