iBook vs. Powerbook: Apple now has a comparison chart

I found this interesting chart which I hadn't noticed before. It's so not very like Apple, and so much more Dell-like, to let you compare their hardware configurations across product family (and market segment) so transparently. I guess the line between iBooks and Powerbooks must really be getting blurry after all those tasty upgrades to the iBooks.

    Actually, that comparison chart has been around since the updated PowerBooks were released some weeks ago. I've also seen this chart (about 24 inches by 36 inches) displayed at one of the local Apple Stores.



    I agree with your reasoning; I'm under the impression it was developed to help push the PowerBooks a bit.
