Extended desktop on ibook?

I'm not sure if this is in the correct forum; sorry if it's not. I'd like to run an extended desktop on a separate display on an ibook as I do on my powerbook. How does one go about doing this?

Thanks.

You need the Monitor Spanning Hack. Read this page and be sure to follow the instructions carefully.
