How to install Final Cut Studio on ibook G3?

Hi,

At work I have 7 G5s (Single 1.8, Panther) and an ibook (G3 800, Tiger) that is for me personally.

Recently I ordered 8 copies of Final Cut Studio. The idea was to install it onto the G5s for work and then to put it onto my iBook so that I could play with it and get used to it at home.

However when I run the installer on my iBook it tells me that my ibook does not meet the required hardware specs and quits the installer.

Now I know that Final cut would be dog slow on my ibook but I don't really mind that - its for playing with and not for serious project work - that's what the G5s are for.

Does anyone know if there is a way to get round the hardware check and install Final Cut Studio on my ibook?

Um, you wouldn't want to anyway. Final Cut Studio would be so slow on your iBook it's not even funny.

    Hi Chucker,

thanx for replying! Assuming that I didn't mind the slowness, how would I go about installing it anyway?

    thanx

Pacifist should let you extract the applications.
