Apple PowerBook Warranty Left

Hi guys,



I bought an Apple PowerBook a month ago from a friend of mine (not from Apple). At that time, he said that the PowerBook had 1 year warranty left. I haven't registered my name on the PowerBook yet so I thought the warranty would be still 1 year. But then when I was browsing the Apple sites a few weeks ago, I read that the warranty is actually based on the date of purchase. How can I possibly check its warranty left?

    i think if you put the serial number in on the apple support site (at the bottom right hand corner of the page i think) it should tell you how much warranty is left.
